Konstantin has been head of URALSIB Capital’s Research Department since 1999, combining this responsibility with supervising our operations related to the TMT market. In 2006, Thomson Extel EMEA ranked Konstantin third among telecom analysts, and he was also named one of the best Russian telecom analysts in the 2006 and 2007 ratings published by Institutional Investor’s All-Russia Research Team.

Before 1999, Konstantin was a telecom/metals and mining analyst at Rinaco Plus Investment Company. From 1996 to 2006 he was also a member and Chairman of the Quotation Committee of the Russian Trading System (RTS).

Konstantin graduated from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, before continuing his postgraduate studies also at this institute and receiving a Doctor of Science degree. Before 1995, he focused on research, authoring more than 40 research publications.

Today, Konstantin oversees a unique multinational team of professionals with extensive experience in emerging markets, as well as a deep understanding of the Russian market and Russian issuers.

Institutional Investor has listed URALSIB Capital’s analyst team as one of the top 10 research teams in Russia for the past six years. In the All Russia Research Team 2009, URALSIB Capital was ranked sixth in the overall rating and fourth based on the strength of the personal ratings of participating analysts. The Thomson Reuters Extel Survey – Focus Russia 2009 placed URALSIB Capital’s analysts first in five categories.
