URALSIB has been declared Bond Market Company of year at the annual national competition ‘The Elite of Securities Market’.

The final ceremony took place on 23 May at the Moscow City Golf Club. The award was received by Alexander Pugach, Head of Fixed Income at URALSIB.

Mr Pugach said “We would like to express our gratitude to NAUFOR and market professionals for recognizing the enormous effort that we have made to improve the quality of the services we offer”.

The competition was held by the Russian National Association of Securities Market Participants (NAUFOR). The winners are professional securities market participants who have demonstrated the greatest achievements in different segments of the securities market over the past year.

In 2006, URALSIB ranked among the top 3 in secondary bond trading (MICEX ranking) and among the top 5 for IPOs (C-bond rankings). URALSIB's bond trading volume surged four-fold in the past year.
